<div style="width: 550px; text-align: center" align="center">Minecrafters beware! Your favorite spiders, creepers, and zombies are arriving on your Xbox 360. The platform version of the game, which was announced at the 2011 E3 conference, will finally be released on Wednesday, May 9 as an arcade title on Xbox Live. Minecraft will cost you 1600 Microsoft Points. The monetary value of 1600 Microsoft points is $19.96 USD.

There will be a few minor differences between Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition and the original PC version of the game. The most notable and most intriguing difference may be the eventual introduction of the Kinect's motion technology to the game. Although it will not be available at launch, Kinect will allow you to physically go through the motions of building your house and mining diamonds. Another major difference is the crafting system in the Xbox 360 Edition. Instead of the traditional 2x2 and 3x3 crafting grids, the console version will only require you to have the ingredients necessary for the item you are crafting and the game will craft it for you. To top it off, the new edition will feature a split screen functionality and a tutorial mode. For the MC mod and texture pack lovers, the new game will support mods and texture packs down the road.

For those of you planning on purchasing Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition do not forget about our Xbox Tab. Here you can link your GamerTag to the website and get added to our leader board. Currently S14y3d is on top of the leader board with over 100,000 points.</div>

MUAHAHA MC in Kinect!

Gonna be mining me own obsidian

Arm Cramps ensue

Well that interesting. But I am currently in the throes of deciding if I want a PS3 or an Xbox....and besides that...I really don't play Minecraft a lot :)

from what I have seen its like an old version of minecraft, seems like its 1.8 beta version modified for xbox.

Also i wouldn't get to excited about kenect controls Notch said it is only in the game because it was required by Microsoft in the contract and he couldn't get out of it so he even admits it's half ass'd because he didn't want the feature in his game and doesn't feel it works with his game

i don't even have xbox or ps3. but i think it will be alright, not a very big thing in my opinion
