Honestly when I got this game and I heard jets, I was expecting Ace Combat. Boy was I wrong. The flight controls suck so bad.

Ace Combat is, so far, the best aerial combat combat game I've played. The new one is a little meh but so far the series is epic. I've heard of WW2 jets, they were just never used or tested more than once.

I believe that the German Messerschmitt 262 did see some action during World War II. There are accounts of these aircraft being used against Allied bombers.

You would be correct. The Me262 was a huge technological improvement but the issue was that they didn't have the range of prop planes due to the engines being inefficient.

I think there would be far less gripes about jets in bf's if they have better joystick options. I also understand the KISS method in thinking with that as well though Keep is simple stupid. So the stupids can fly too and want all gripe about jets... so darned if the do or dont.
