Well, I havent played runescape in well over a year and even then I only played rarely, the last time I was active was about 2 years ago. So I ask, whats changed since last year? I saw they changed the way armor looks which was pretty stupid in my opinion, but what else have they added? I ask because I was thinking about getting back into it over the summer maybe

Well, when I came back late last year, not much was different than 4 years previously when I had stopped playing. Really, from 2 years ago, the major differences are the introduction of the squeal of fortune, which gives you some spins every day to randomly get something. However, this let jagex allow real world trading through themselves by letting people buy spins. Games been made a bit easier in some ways, with runespan allowing fast and easy runecrafting experience and bonfires granting fast and easy firemaking exp. Not sure what else there is aside from the remodeling of armor and what not.

Still, it shouldn't be too difficult to get back into. Like I said, I was gone for 4 years and it wasn't as different as when I had left.

Clan citadels were added, wildy was brought back and the minigames in the wildy were brought to just north of fally. Like RDK said, Runespan and bonfires are the most recent addition allowing faster runecrafting and firemaking. Dominion tower was added to allow you to battle quest bosses again. And toolbelts were added for easier access to necessary tools. The toolbelt was added in Dung but allows you to add the highest pickaxe, hatchet, etc to be added.
