Happy mothers day , but hey everybody remember this! Don't just do something out of the ordinary just because of today. Do things for your mom all the time. Remember she brought you into this world so the least you could do is make he happy! 
Amen to what all has been said here. However, I do believe that this thread would have been better suited in either the General Forum or Off-Topic areas, this way the thread would have gotten more attention & more people would have posted. I actually had to search for this thread because I was disappointed that such a thread wasnt more readily noticeable.
