A WoW guide iPhone app...

Hey everybody. I, for the past few months, have been learning how to design apps for mobile devices. I have been trying to think of an app that is both helpful, and could become popular, and I just had a quick question for you all. When it comes to various types of guides in the app store, would any of you ever spend 99 cents for a specific WoW guide app? Such as a complete guide to mining, or skinning, etc etc. If you have any thoughts or suggestions, please let me know.

i would not cause their is currently enough guides on the internet to use.

making a guide for a newer game is much better cause their will not be as much information on the market.

Here's my thing. If I'm reading a guide about a PC game, I'm already on my PC. I can just minimize the screen (or click off on it) and read up on what I need to know. So a WoW guide for the phone would actually be a waste in my opinion.

For games, it's best if you were designing something that would pull live information from a source. For example, WoW Armory isn't that bad of an idea because it'll let you see your armor and compare it to other people. I can definitely see a possibility for an app like this on Diablo 3.

Ya those guys made a killing off their wow guides because they actually apear in-game. Almost considered buying it for doing a hardcore run, but didn't really feel like spending 30$
