IMO, better. Not to say GW1 was bad. It was amazing, they just took it up another notch. Sadly, i wasn't able to participate in this Beta.. log in kept messing up (which i'm sure is due to everyone trying to log in during the test) I'll be in the next weekend beta for sure though!
