So, with the release of Diablo III last night. And the many :facewall:error 37's:facewall: I saw happening during said event :cursing: I got to thinking. What about a Diablo III division?? Or a sub-division of a current Division??? Before dropping a request I just wanted to see if there would be enough interest.

Strat division will most likely suck it in as it did Starcraft II and WoW

although i dont play the game, i do see a lot of potential to expand our clan with diablo III given its popularity

I don't have the game yet mostly due to life and not having the money to be able to get it but I agree with Naku that it's got a massive player base behind it and think it's a great opportunity to expand eGO. My vote goes that it should at least have a sub-division. I do plan to get it in time just when is of question.

I managed to take out Act I and level to 17 before heading off to work this morning.

I'm frustrated with the launch. MMO-scale fail launch for a non-MMO. Sad.

Anyway, we should all swap Battle Tag things. I forget mine currently, and the game's down.

Other than swapping battle tags and playing together...do we really need more than that? Are you going to play with pubs and recruit them into the clan? Are other people going to do that?

Given the nature of play in this game and the style of play some of our members have admitted to regarding PvP, I do not believe a division or sub-division is constructive or necessary.

We should all still play together and have a blast when the servers are up though, absolutely!

I was going to pick this up yesterday, except my friend had beaten it by the time I woke up (8 hours of playtime), and that kind of sucked up all my enthusiasm.

haha you have got to be kidding me..

but can anyone explain what is so great about diablo? I am interested in trying it but I'm afraid I'll be disappointed and not like it.

if you are into lore... its got a great story-line - which if you haven't played d1&d2 may not be as great...
if you like randomly created dungeons to trudge through every time you play it (which makes for amazing replay-ability)...
If you like insane levels of difficulty on video games - normal mode is the tutorial for Diablo games...
If you like grouping up with people to do said dungeons and boss fights....
If you like finding rare magical items and what not...
This games for you. if you want i can live stream it sometime for you to watch

I'll just spend a little time watching youtube gameplay videos. Sounds pretty fun though.

^ this. I agree.

The game is about so much more than finishing the campaign. You finish it around level 30. Then you have to finish Hell mode. Then Inferno mode. All while working up to max level (50? 60? I forget) and looking for newer and better loot. Not to mention, 5 different classes with drastically different play styles.

Whether you play online or by yourself, there is a ton of play in this game outside of a single playthrough of the story.

What you're saying, it's the same as Diablo2 xD

Yeah. I was replying to someone earlier who wasn't getting it because a friend "beat it" in 6 hours.
