Headset Help

So recently I made a thread about if I should buy Platronics Closed Ear Headphones and I did buy them but now that I have them I pretty much love everything about them but the way it feels after about 5-10 minutes of either playing CS:S, watching youtube videos or just simply sitting there. After 10 minutes I have to take them off for about 5-10 minutes again because it makes my ears hurt pretty badly and sometimes gives me a headache so now im thinking about returning them back to amazon and buying a new pair of x12's Turtle Beach off Amazon for about 50$ and I've read a lot of the reviews and watched like three reviews everyone says there awesome and can be played for hours without taking them off. I've also looked into z11's which are about 20$ bucks cheaper but only has 2 reviews on amazon and not many reviews on youtube. But anyways could a few people give me some feedback I sometimes like to take my time go on some forums ask people but most of the time people don't get back to me and I end up making myself getting them then regret it and wish I waited like my Platronics.

I do remember my Gamecom 777 headset giving me a headache the first few weeks I wore it. Its due to the firmness of the cushions on the top and ear cuffs. This headset is like a pair of shoes, you need to wear it in a little. It took a little while, but they eventually wore in and now I'm able to wear them comfortably basically all day. It definitely took more than a week to do so, however. The choice is yours as to whether or not you want to keep them, but I thought I would share my experience with my headset.

I have a small head so I didn't have to really work mine in but I have heard from other that they take a little bit to get comfortable. I agree with phalanx that it's like a pair of shoes in that regard. I haven't used Turtle Beach before so can't comment on them.

I've got a huge head. See my post in the previous thread about the steelseries siberia v2. The self-adjusting spring-suspended headstrap should be headache proof.
