Top 5 Best Shooters?

Hey guys it's thegoodsir, I just wanted to make a list of games I though that are the best FPS:

1. Battlefield 3 was a massive leap in FPS and saw some of the best graphics a shooter has ever scene especially of the PC

2. Crysis 2 awesome game, great physics, amazing graphics, fantastic story line and a decent multi-player

3. Sniper Elite 2 sweet game, decent graphics, cool features, amazing physics and a good story

4. Counter Strike Source really competitive shooter but is an awesome game, and this has been one of my favorite FPS ever. Heaps of fun, huge range of game modes, mods, skins and competition.

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2: The best cod other than number 4 it was really fun and was a very well made game better the BO, MW3

Are we talking the past year? 5 years? in all time? There are other games that would be on that list, like Castle Wolfenstein, Doom, Tribes, Quake, Unreal Tournament, Borderlands, Far Cry, Half-Life, FEAR, Bioshock, Left4Dead, Brothers in Arms, etc. and their successors.

Using Gamespot as a reference (just for simplicity sake), Far Cry had a better score than BF3 (9.2 vs 8.5).

Hey. Yeah your right about BF3, i was really surprised how different it is from BC2. i was kinda expecting the same thing but i knew that graphics were gonna be better. but i wasnt expecting the gameplay to be much different.



The newest game that im looking forward to playing is Crysis 3....now that looks like a BOSS game..

For past few years, I agree though.
BF3, amazing. Someone was calling it crap compared to BC2 the other day, and I was floored.. it just sounded idiotic. (here's hoping for a 2143 based on the BF3 engine)
I can't stand COD past COD4. It just went insane on the kill perks. Couldn't play a match online because of the spam.

Sniper Elite v2 is a game I have hoped would be made since I played SE1. While not being the greatest game ever, it has some really cool/fun gameplay, and the bullet time actually is really fun, especially watching the bullet's kill trajectory.

I haven't played Crysis 2, it just seems like the current trend of games, ruining sequels.

I couldn't stand playing HL, nor CS. But the Source engine made me a believer. HL2 and CSS were my first real valve purchases, and I haven't looked back since. I can't wait to play CS:GO, and that's saying something for people that know me.
