OMG I hate Molten mobs!

The worst is finding Frozen Molten or Jailer Molten! The ones that will keep your feet in place while they burn you alive.

after dying a hundred or so times in Hell, I am really not looking forward to inferno...

I only have Diablo left to kill in Hell...

inferno is a difficulty that you must exploit to win.
You need to use creativity over hard stats , though stats are nice.
Basically it is set that most things will kill you in one hit even if you have 10s of thousands of hp and huge amounts of armor.

ironically the best tank class for inferno is the wizard btw.

Yup figured that out the hard way, but Wizard with no vitality and high hp regen is almost un killable.

I made a post yesterday about some tips on inferno. As Saltychipmunk said, it's much more about "exploiting" them than it is about hard stats. Once you get past act 1, most of the elite mobs will 1-2 shot you no matter how much health, armor, resists you have. It really sucks for my Monk because it makes them practically useless except for every 20 seconds when I can become invulnerable for 3 seconds because you get insta-gibbed as soon as you run in range.

I'm not a pro at Inferno, but I think from what I've read and from what I've seen personally, the "guide" I put together could help a lot with beating it.

I am seeing on reddit that they nerfed energy shield.

Blizzard brought the servers down twice this morning for maintenance, the first time they nerfed energy shield, but there were bugs that caused it to either stay the same / work as intended / or just not work at all. The second time they fixed energy shield to what it originally was, so for now it does work as it has been.
