Like the title says my mic has stopped picking up my voice and just picks up sounds from the computer, like music etc.
This happened while I was playing and talking to people on ventrilo so I havent changed any settings.
Its not a problem with ventrilo, as I have it all the time.

I have the Sennheiser 360 PC and the mic works just fine on any other computer.
I have tried both front and back ports with no luck and I have looked around in all the option, but I didnt find anything
After spending a long time searching for a fix, I found several threads but no real answer other then inactivate "Stereo Mix", but it already is.
Im on Windows 7 64bit, and using the motherboard audio and I have tried re-installing Realtek HD audio drivers.

Any recommendations on what to do here? Thanks for the help!
(I currently dont have another mic to try with, but I will as soon as I can)

when you have vent up check to make sure you didn't accidentally mute the mic in vent (near bottom) i have done that before

No, its not like that. Whenever I talk they hear whatever I hear, like the music im listening to, them talking...
Its not coming from the mic

Right click your speaker down in your task bar.
Left click Record Devices.
Take a screenshot.
Post it here.

OK. When you talk into that microphone, does it show up green? Like in my image below?

Right click the open area underneath your list of devices in the recording tab and click Show Disabled Devices. Look for stereo mix and disable and/or mute it (try to do both, mute first). Then see if it'll pick up your voice.

After extensive research, it was found that this device does not function properly.
Silent Ghost will be using his warranty to get a replacement.

Problem solved.

Thanks for taking concern but please don't bump old, solved threads because you can.
