Quick Question for You Guys

Is it bad if I seriously consider buying a game (even a game I'm not even interested in) just because of the cool hats it will give me in TF2? Tonight I saw Steam News about Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and I saw it came with really cool TF2 hats and it almost made me want to preorder the game.

If it's a good game I'd say go for it,if the game's bad the hats will just be badges of shame.The wingstick is a good example.Every time you see the item it will remind you of the money you wasted.

Tf2 is a sad game. You used to play to shoot people with rockets and watch them explode. The only reason people play now if for a hat you can't even see on yourself and then no one else cares if you have the hat or not. The sad thing is the game would survive even if there was no gameplay and you just walked around a map wearing hats.
