Looks like I won't be going on deployment for a few weeks. The boat currently has a hole in the hull which has been plugged with a 2B pencil. Someone noticed some rust and proceeded to test the hull integrity with a pencil. The result was pretty bad. Nobody wants to remove our new Mk3 leak stopper for fear we'll make it worse. Heading up to the dry dock soon for repairs. What else the engineers find wrong with the boat is anyone's guess.
