I got a general question for eGO, I've been thinking about getting a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and wanted to get feed back on how a Jeep runs and do they get break downs often or what? Positive or negative feed back. Just wanna know experiences from you guys.

A 2012?

If so, they're awesome. The new Pentastar V6 is really impressive. As far as models and options, it really depends on how often you're willing to go off road. If it's only casual, then you're better off with a Grand Cherokee.

My grandma's '87 Cherokee has 567,000 miles and still runs. The transmission has been the only major problem with it. But since then Mercedes and now Fiat are partners with Chrysler.

Now you're talking my language. I have a 2 door 04 Unlimited. If you get one the one thing you want to make sure it has it the 4.0L engine(best engine ever made IMO). I would recommend one with the hard-top because the soft-tops tend to get a little noisy, at least mine does with an aftermarket top.
I wouldn't bother with a Rubicon edition unless you plan on wheeling it off-road, they're a lot more expensive.
They are dependable little vehicles, but once you start upgrading stuff it gets expensive, but worth it. Parts aren't all that expensive for them, it's the upgrading that'll get ya.
After all Jeep stands for "Just Empty Every Pocket" :P
I'll get some pics of mine tomorrow for you if you want.

Yeah but you can't take the top off of a ZJ/WJ without a saw-zall:P. BTW I'm impressed with the # of miles your Grandma's put on hers. I had a buddy that had an xj with over 350,000, but almost 600k is impressive. It shows that she's taken good care of the maintenance:thumbup1:

Oh yeah even the paint is spotless. She used Mobil 1 and never went over the OCI.

I forgot to mention earlier. Wranglers have a tremendous resale value also. So even if the investment gets expensive, you'll be happy at the price you can sell it for down the road.

Sure post pictures. I have always wanted a Jeep. And I like the size of the jeep wrangler unlimited's. I can put some subwoofers in there and still have space for other things. Hard top was my plan cause i've been in a jeep going down the highway with a soft top. Extremely loud

Yeah the Unlimited is the way to go. I'm 6'4" & I don't feel cramped at all when I'm driving & I can fit in the back seat without having to fold myself up. If you plan on putting any kind of sound system in it a hard-top is a must since all it takes is a knife to break in. There's plenty of room under the passenger side dash to mount an amp where it's hidden from view too.

what my friend told me that electronics break down alot for the rest i have no idea
but i like how they look get a dark green one
