CS:S Scrim Team

1. We'd need a server
2. We'd need people that are good
3. We'd need Brandon Snow to lead it
4. We'd need to get into esea

It was a weird feeling being called out by name.

If you guys want honesty, the problem is that we are about 1-2 good solid players away from being worth anything.

We have 3 people (including myself) I can count on for sure. 1 that I can count on sometimes but really no 5th.

Skill is another problem, we have a lot of good aimers in eGO but we have very few with competitive experience. Aiming well and actually learning the mechanics of competitive CS are two completely different things.

I am probably going to give a scrim team one more chance in eGO but it is mostly dependent on me being able to get an old teammate of mine to come out of "retirement" and help me.

Oh, and if CS:GO is any good. That also matters.

you got me brotha

Can we use the event server to do some sort of tryout? This can be a fun thing, it doesn't have to be that serious at first. It's hard for someone to gain experience if no one is willing to give them a chance to gain it. Just my 2 pennies.

I'd love to be a part of it, but you make it sound like no one is welcome.

It's the "for fun" ones that never last. They are referring to the way I ran the scrim team before.

You aren't really going to get the experience I am talking about in an eGO 10 man anyway. :/

I used to play competitively back in 1.5. Only a handful of tournaments and scrims in 1.6, and 0 with CS:S.

I understand your concerns with running and maintaining a team, but if it did get going, would it be worth it? How much sacrifice are you looking for per teamate? And I'm sure there are several other clans that we know to scrim against.

I'll probably have the money to put up for a scrim server, starting this coming Friday. I'd be interested in playing as well, but I can accept that I'm probably more of a b-string player ^.^

I scrimmed back in 1.6 even made it to the wcg but we lost to team 3d in the us side and didnt get to go to the world games :(
