HELP map dl error.

Hey guys. Just re installed CSS after god knows how long and I am having issues with maps. I get this error whenever I try to join a server that isn't a stock map.

"Missing map maps/de_highschool.bsp, disconnecting"


Any ideas???

Did you allow downloads? You could also go into your maps folder an delete it, it could be corrupted.

I shouldnt have the map at all yet. and i tried cl_allowdownload....

Ok so when i try to join, the map shows up in my maps folder....i tried deleting it and it just does the same thing

Have you tried verifying files and defragging? If all else fails I could try to upload it to a site and give it to you.

Open your Steam Library and right click Counter-Strike: Source>Properties. Click on the Local Files tab and click Verify Integrity of Game Cache:

Not a guaranteed fix, but definitely worth a shot.​
