just wanted to share and this seems like the best place for it
on the 1st of march this happened:
i missed my pocket when putting my phone away while walking to my car and struggling with my then 17 month old son. immediately after i drove over my phone only realizing it was missing a couple hours later and found it in the driveway upon returning home. thankfully i bought a squaretrade warranty and about a week after i had my phone back in my hot little hands good as new. at least it was good for a while yesterday the phone stopped working right as if there was an invisible finger on the middle screen preventing me from doing anything at all. called squaretrade this morning, they sent me a shipping label and are giving me a check for $500 to replace my phone. new galaxy nexus will be here tomorrow.
normally i don't opt for insurance on electronics, but i'm sure glad i did in this instance. that is all.
