Well, Because I received the two week free member trial for RuneScape in my E-Mail a couple days ago, I decided to start up on RuneScape again. So my story begins...
I do some of the new music and voice acted quests, which impressed me, and I also buy myself a Dragon Platebody. {This is important for later.}
I end up outside of Falador, looking at the new Clan system thing. Someone by the name of Host DD19 messages me that he is giving away money for his birthday.
He invites me to his house and asks me why the chicken crossed the road and other nonsensical jokes. He then gives me a Iron Dagger and tells me to drop it. I do and he takes me to the second level of his house.
He has me put my Amulet of Glory (4) on the table and I pick it back up. Within 10 seconds another Amulet of Glory, without a charge, appears. I pick it up and start to think.
At this point, I know he is trying to scam me, so he asks me to put my Dragon Platebody on the Table. (Because he is trying to make me believe that you can duplicate items.)
I instead put bones on the table and he logs out, kicking me out of he house. (He apparently believed that I would be so gullible, to drop a $6M piece of equipment in someone else's house.)
He logs back in, and blames him leaving over his Mac. At this point, I have already reported him and all he has for it is bones.
In the end, I actually made off with this. He got bones and I got his Amulet of Glory.
