For all of those who played Demon's Soul on the PS3 and enjoyed the Second installation on the PS3 / Xbox 360 here is the official announcement for the SteamWorks release of the game!
Now this game is rated M, so I wont post a trailer here but if anyone is interested they're all over youtube.
It's mostly just violence but I still wont post it here.
For those of you who don't know what Dark Souls is, then I shall explain!
Dark Souls is an action role-playing game based around the concept of always being online, by always being online other players can invade your world and attempt to kill you, you can also summon other players to aid you on your journey!
Here is a quick summary of the story.
"In the founding of the universe, the earth was unformed, covered in crags, and dragons held sole dominion over the world. However, The Lords of Fire along with the human race eventually came into existence for reasons long lost to time.
From the Dark, which gained meaning in contrast to Light from the newly kindled flame, emerged four powerful entities--Nito, the first of the dead; the Witch of Izalith and her daughters of chaos; Gwyn, the Lord of Sunlight, and his faithful knights; and the furtive pygmy, so easily forgotten--who harnessed the Souls of Lords to combat the dragons, eventually overthrowing them and launching humanity and their new lordly gods into a golden era known as the Age of Fire."
If anyone has any questions further about the game feel free to ask, not trying to force this on people. I just want everyone to know how cool it is.
