Driver Errors spoiling my DoD

I thought I had this solved, but any help would be appreciated. I keep having video driver errors in DoD. Tonight it's "Internal Driver error in IDirect 3DDevice9::Present()".

Last night I was getting another 3D error. I uninstalled my video drivers, ran Driver Cleaner Pro, then installed Omega drivers. Last night, DoD ran fine.

Today, nothing has changed--haven't touched settings at all, but I'm getting another 3D error.

I'd think my graphics card is dying, except CS:S and TF2 play with no issues at all. It's something specific to my system's interaction with DoD.

Any thoughts, clues or comments?

Since I've tried drivers, I think I'll try reducing the demand on the card. Who needs HDR in DoD, right? Might as well get a better Frame Rate.

For those interested in the resolution of this one, shutting down HDR, antialiasing and filtering seem to allow it to run just fine. Both the card and the drivers should be up to handling the demand, but it seems to run fine and with them turned off and I'm not noticing a visual difference. I'm told many people shut these features down to get a higher frame rate anyway, so no loss, I guess. They work fine in HL2 and Episodes 1 and 2.
