Dialo III Hardcore Story Time

I haven't played hardcore mode as I've enjoyed gearing up in Inferno and hoping to make serious progression through Act 2 soon. With that said, I was thinking about hardcore mode and how there can be so many different adrenaline rushing scenarios that could be told to others for enjoyment. Share your hardcore experiences in Diablo III with everyone whether it be close calls, or the dreaded death of your hero. Wall of texts are welcomed as long as they are descriptive and pull the readers into the experience you had.

I just reached level 60 on my hardcore monk today (1st HC character, no deaths) so far in Act 3 hell the biggest adrenaline rush would have to come from Elite Dark Berserkers or those banelings that run at you and explode. I've seen elite banelings before, so I am dreading the day when I stumble upon Horde/Illusionist/Fast/Jailer. Also apparently if they have reflect damage affix they can hit your ally and you still take damage from the explosion which sucks.

I know exactly what you're talking about. Both of those types are nasty. I can't imagine getting to 60 just to have a suicide bomb mob blow me up after breaking down one of the doors under Bastion Keep. It has happened on my regular heroes many times.
