Right now i can access safe mode with networking. But everytime i start windows i get the "disk error ctr-alt-delete to restart" but it just loops me back to that :cursing: any help?

Yea, and if you have missing/corrupted files, you would probably have to do a system restore or even reformat your HDD. But since you can get on it in safe mode, I would say that a system restore would do just the trick, just set it back a week or two, and it should work perfect.

yea found out what it was; major corrupted data in the hard drive resulting in disk failing. However i tried chdisk in the CMD and it fix it but i worry sometimes that it might occur once more but thanks.
blinkster i would suggest that since you fixed the issue that you get yourself fixed up w/ some decent anti-virus software (if you can afford to get the paid version, I would recommend it, but free can help to a certain degree). also check into gettin some anti-spyware/anti-malware software as well. believe it or not, spyware/malware is gettin more dangerous & damaging than it used to be. people need to start paying more attention to these threats. finally, i would highly suggest that you check into downloading a defrag program. do a google search for smart defrag (I believe its on CNet as a free download). since you knew how to use chdisk, then using smart defrag will be just as simple. using the anti-virus & anti-spyware programs once a week & the smart defrag program once a month will keep your hard drive running smoother & better in the future.
