Strabes as Spy

Hey guys,

I've had the pleasure of playing with many of you over the past few months and I just completed my first spy video with voice comm. I'm quite proud of it and hopefully it will be helpful to spies everywhere! =D Check it out and let me know what you think! (negative comments welcome too!)

UPDATE: Very nice commentary. You seemed to not take a breather at times in this video. I know that this is your first commentary (at least from what I've seen), but try to take it chill when you can. Other than that, some very nice tips in this video as well as some great gameplay. Hope to play against you in the future again!

Thanks man! Yeah I had a lot to say and had to kind of squeeze it in there so in Adobe Premiere I cut out a lot of the pauses =D

True, spy vs. spy is not very fun. Maybe in the next highlander event we can be spies on opposite teams!

Nice work! I personally hate spies (unless they happen to be good and on my team). Except for Frisky, who can make an entire server rage quit in one round when playing spy.

Another thing: most of the time I never follow what I think is a spy up anything where they could have a height advantage (typically stairs). I think what you touched on in the video that was nice is the fact that as a spy you can make almost anything a height advantage if you look for it.

You're one of the reasons I always am cautious while spy hunting. I usually don't get stair stabbed too often anymore if I know I am chasing a spy. Too many years of playing with frisky.

Towards the end of the video where I decloak right next to people, I'm using the Saharan Spy item set which makes the sound of the DR decloak almost silent. That said, the saharan set is really only useful in pubs where there's less communication (usually none) among the enemy team than in scrims/matches.
