TF2 issues.

Essentially my main issue is that I can't launch it. I have tried verifying the cache but I sit there for up to 10 minutes without anything happening. So I tried uninstalling TF2 but it won't uninstall. I check my program list on my computer and TF2 was never installed to begin with. So basically I can't remove nor play TF2, how do I fix this?

"Go into Steam and then to your games section, right click on Team Fortress 2 and then click delete local content. That will delete TF2 and you can just reinstall it after that."
