i'm getting a new proccesor!!!!!!!!

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had BAD grades this semester and my uncle told me if I bring them to a passing grade, then he'll by me a Quad Core!!!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!
I brought up my grades and now I'm getting it!!!!! YAY!!!!!!

But that's not all! My dad is getting me a new 256 MB GeForce Graphics Card, an Audigy 4 sound card, and a 22" Widescreen monitor!!!!!!!!!

again, YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

before i get the Quad Core, i wanted to make sure it's cool, so if anyone has ANY opinions, whether that be neg. or pos., let me know. I want a good one, and so far this is my baby!!!!!!

Proccessor: Quad-Core Intel Xeon 5300 Series

SoundCard: Creative Audigy 4

Y'know, if you plan to game with that GFX card on such a quite high resolution monitor... you'll experience quite some lag if you want to see the image clearly without any blurred or stretched looking parts on it

actually, i'm thinking about getting a 19" instead of a 22". Right now i have a 15", TOO SMALL.

Well, I'd suggest an overhaul because a quad-core on an x8 AGP motherboard... well it doesn't seem to be well its worth, it's like putting a 10,000 horsepower engine into a Ford Pinto, it'll go fast sure, but whats it to say it won't explode by the slightest touch of a pebble

BTW, that is a server motherboard and a server processor. Those are not meant for gaming. Get a motherboard with PCI-E and get a Q6600 if you are spending that much.

As for video card, it just depends on your price range.

Well, sadly everything these days are being modified for gaming unless you get integrated GFX cards on the motherboards etc etc, cheap shit no fun blah blah blah
