Thoughts for a friend

Greetings,

I am reaching out to everybody because I have a very close friend who is fighting for his life right now. He was struck by a car early Monday morning after leaving EDC in Las Vegas. His skull was fractured and his brain is swollen. He's on life support, but they've had to strap him down because even sedated he's trying to rip it out.

I need all of you as MY gaming community and friends to say a few kind words for him. His name is Olivier. He's one of the most caring, intelligent, selfless people I know. He needs your support and his family and friends will greatly appreciate your efforts.

Olivier, conquer all. This is for you. I don't believe in prayer to a deity who let's people die on his own will, but I strongly believe in science and medical advances.

thank you everybody for taking the time out of your day to acknowledge my friend. he's showing improvements in many aspects and we all believe he's on his way to a full recovery. it will take months, but he will be the same person he was before this tragic accident.

he's responding to French more than English, it's quite funny. he's still sedated due to his brain being swollen. he keeps trying to pull out his life supports tubes so they had to strap him down. I hope within the next 24 hours he will be awake and stabilized.

I hope your friend is able to pull through, its horrible all the tragic things that seem to happen to close ones.

he's doing much better. he's almost ready to be stabilized once the swelling in his brain goes down. thank you all very much for your support. keep doing it, it's definitely helping.
