Not sure if you all have seen the Hobbit Movie's Production Vlog. Pretty much Peter Jackson has created a vlog (video blog) about the filming and production of The Hobbit.

I've included the first of the vlogs (there are currently 7, with more to come):

I'm personally really looking forward to The Hobbit, and every time another vlog comes out, I search ebay for a time machine to take me to December.

I'm still on the fence about this movie. Especially after hearing that they were going to shoe-horn Galadriel & Legolas into it...Both of whom weren't even in the book. I won't watch it if they cut Beorn out of it like they did Bombadil in the LotR movies, he was the most interesting character from the book.

It is being shot with 48 fps or something. It will look like they are in the other room.

Well there has been a good deal of negative feed back from test screenings filming 48 fps. A lot of people say that the footage looks cheap, like it was shot for a soap opera. Of course Jackson says it something that we need to get used to watching. Honestly I thing that a production of this size is not that great of a place to test audiences willingness to watch films shot in 48 fps.

I bet it will look sweet. PJ won't put out something that will look like a 80's spanish soap opera, lol.

King Kong?

Beorn is a beast in the book, I have read that book at lease a dozen times because I have it at home and keep re-reading it. Love it. Can't wait to see all the dwarves and their awesome songs.
