Seriously, one of the best books you'll ever read in high school and with no real movie adaptation, it's about time someone makes something worth the story. I don't know how many of you have read The Great Gatsby but it's a great inside peak to the rich and luxorious side of the roaring twenties! I figured I'd share. It's one of my favorite books and I love Baz Luhrmann, so yay!

i remember reading some of this in school it was alright but i didnt think much about it

I see Baz enjoys including DiCaprio in his films. If its anything like his adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, I'll probably pass. Also there has been an attempt at making this book into a film in the past (1974). But for some reason the producer thought that Robert Redford would play Nick well... DiCaprio is probably the better choice.
