I almost died laughing to this! They do always jump like 20 feet back when an explosion is like a hundred feet away from them.

Tommy was weak without his golden shoulder pads. Remember that one episode when he had to lend it to the black ranger to defeat that bad guy. Jason was better than Tommy when he was the green ranger but not when he was the white ranger. The talking sword that shot lasers out of its eyes.
