How do you get a server to work with TF2lobby? Like, how do you get it to have the ready/not ready system.

Well first you need at least a 14 slot server for 6v6 or at least 20 slot server for HL, just for some room to have some specs and maybe even a STV. Then put a few competitive configs into your servers tf file directory, found here at the UGC 6v6 files page and the UGC HL files page these are mainly just for scrims but even if you're just using it as a lobby server its good to have these files in it just in case you have to run your configs manually. If you're using a server thats already been setup like this all you have to do is find out the rcon password and the servers IP then you can use that server to create a lobby as long as no ones using it at the time. Once you join the lobby most likely setup your server to play the match type you selected and you're good to go.

If you're scrimming or if the lobby fails to execute its config however youll have to do it manually which you can do by simply going into console and typing 'rcon "yourrconpaswordhere" ' and then depending on the type of match you want type again in console 'rcon exec ugc_6v_standard.cfg' for a standard 5cp 6v6 game or 'rcon exec ugc_6v_stopwatch.cfg' for attack and defend or payload in 6v6.

You are going to need all the files and rcon commands that come with it plus the money/time to get the server. Then go to tf2lobby.com and click on Create Lobby.
