Young players on our servers.

I was playing on Dustbowl the other night and had a few young players on my team. When I say young, I mean about 8-10 years old. There was a stingy ol' sentry that kept our team at bay, preventing us from advancing. Time and again, it cut us down as we lobbed nade after nade at the thing. Then, along comes "fox(something)" and hit that sentry dead on, taking out the repairing engie and his sentry. Next thing I heard was an in-game voice chat which was filled with this young little voice saying over and over, " I got it, I got it!" Our team flooded the voice chat with congrats for about 1-2 minutes. The little one replied, "Thanks Guys!" I then realized how our server policies and values really lure those who want to play in a clean environment. What better motivation is there than creating a place for kids to enjoy themselves in a server free of the crap we see other places. Not to mention some simple values he took with him that day.

Values are what we live by. Values are what ensure our happiness and success and the foundation of all the values are best laid during childhood. One value is linked with another. For instance, as a child is taught forgiveness he learns to be compassionate. As he picks the value of optimism, a sense of persistence is instilled in him. I saw that on our server and it made my day.
I can see that kid talking about his experience for days to come all due to the classy people who frequent our servers, drawn like moths to light, who play here for OUR values, OUR standards.

Let's not let them down.

Thanks for the ranting space!!

See you all in-game!

This is why I feel okay about letting my wife play on our servers - I know that they will be clean and if there is a troublemaker on, it will be dealt with quickly and cleanly.

Oh yes. +Infinity.

I'm glad to be admining(and a part of) a community that has such friendly hospitality towards people of ALL kinds. This sure wasn't the same when I was younger.

I tip my hat to all of our admins.

You included Cyclone. I have pulled you and others away from other things to help on Dustbowl. :thumbup1:

At first I simply followed by the servers' rules, but I realized why they make us special while playing today. A clean environment is so refreshing.

indeed ours are the only servers I'll play on without headphones I've maybe even lashed out on some guys hatin on kids in other servers too

Best part is telling someone if they don't like the rules, they don't have to play here.. Love telling people that! :)

I giggled... In all seriousness I'm glad to see the admins we have here in the TF2 division are very responsive to a situation and take care of it ASAP with communication with each other. It's a great feel to see younger players rewarded for the role they play on a team with a supportive community. That's what makes a community grow! The love and dedication with the members we have here in the TF2 division with putting the time and effort to help others in a time of need and making sure those who disobeys the rules that have been set in stone are punish sends out a sign or professionalism. If I could !up everyone in this division I would. You all are setting an example of how gaming around the world should be.

Fair
Friendly

I love how the servers our clean. nothing i dislike more then an immature ramble. I played TF2 for a while now to know that a lot of people are immature, but not these servers, really awesome :)

Me too, CS:S admins are too serious :l but i actually think we see them that way because we don't talk to them as much we do here in our own division so it could be that or that TF2 is not serious at all? xP
