Roadrunner?

Well, I'm moving to Florida and I am losing my Comcrap internet. For all I gripe about Comcrap, it's internet is bitchin' in NJ. I pay for 25 and routinely test for over 30.

Now I'm heading to the sunshine state for work and I need rock stable internet and the cable company, Brighthouse, offers Roadrunner.

Anyone have any experience with it?

RR isn't bad if you have the maximum internet speed package. Here is my speed test:

I pay for 20 down and get roughly 20 down with another computer and internet tv running at the same time. If upload speed isn't a problem for you, then RR is okay.


P.S. - I live in NC but RR is about the same everywhere

Fios is probably the best, the speed test I have in my comment is with their package 15 up 15 down. And I'm on wifi.. I can see dl rates of 3-4mbs off steam etc

Road Runner from what I've heard near me is pretty good, so it would all come down to price xD

I had road runner i just got AT&T last week but Road runner is pretty fast i liked it but the free anti virus sucked anyways i was downloading at 1.4mb per second

Where I am you can just buy internet, but all in all it's usually better to bundle.

Why are they horrible?

Packetloss...I've found in florida their SNR margins tend to suck, they customer support is crappy, they've started locking down some of their gateways so you can't access their firmware, etc..

Then again I only see the bad end of things doing tech support for video game consoles... so *Shrug*
