Hello all, I recently started thinking that team fortress 2 is the only game I know that you can give gifts on. There are even two items for that(Secret saxton and Pile o' Gifts), so let me ask you something, was there ever a time where you gave either of these things on a server? That or just gave away something for free because it's an awesome thing to do. The reason I am asking this is because I have something BIG for later.

Nothing better then giving rather then receiving, also, when you say your giving away your backpack do you mean your done with TF2 or is it just a generosity thing?

During Christmas season, many people gave out gifts using those two items. (Partly since everyone got a Secret Saxton for free.) A lot of gift-giving happened during events.

Well, I think I will do more of this.
But actually I do think that it is insentive for even more generosity

There was a guy that just started and he really wanted a hat, so I gave him my only one

According to the counter added in the Smissmass update, I've given out 15. :O

nice to see lots of generosity. and with these presents you give and receive nothing. IMO this is a perfect system, where you gain nothing bud the happiness and respect of the person you gave a free item to.

Got a pretty cool hat for spending $60 wish i can keep it Also yes, that is a MLP mod I have :blushing:
