I don't really post here at all, but this guy's gaming today deserves me breaking my routine: Uncle Chris. This is not about his KDR or caps, though they were both positive and above par. This is about his way with a mic and his tactical leadership. In my time playing on eGO, I don't recall having gamed with anyone who was so consistent with positive messages and sound tactics. Usually I really do not like being given orders - some of you may recall my mantra of "how many of them and where?" being thrown out there when players - most of them non-eGO - try to tell others how to play the game. However, Chris's orders were not only sound, but they were delivered in an encouraging and friendly manner. There was none of the "blaggh, go for the tank, we need it, come on guys, what's wrong with you, argghh!!!!one!!1!" silliness that some other would-be leaders shout into the mic. Instead, our efforts were complimented and sound advice was given on how to approach each situation we ran into.
Blah blah blah. The point is, I really enjoyed playing on a team with Chris today. The team as a whole - not just Chris - was honestly one of the best random set of players I've gamed with in a long time, but Chris seemed to be the one maintaining cohesion and routing info between the rest of us. If he comes up for an admin position, he's got my vote.
