If you think about it, Valve has never actually revealed anything new with any of the other Meet the... shorts; I doubt they will now. Think about it, they are just videos expanding upon character traits that we already know and love from the game; there is no new backstory, no new characters, and they have never revealed any secrets. At the very lowest level, it serves Valve more to let the pyro remain mysterious and enigmatic than to reveal the one thing that makes the pyro so interesting, its identity.

This being said, whether they reveal it or not, I totally think it is a robot woman

They did release it, you just were not paying attention. If you were watching the same movie I was, its obvious the pyro is gender confused cyborg monkey created by the engi, so I win.
