Game Mode: TDM/Rush

Server Settings:
  • Friendly Fire: OFF
  • Health Regeneration: ON
  • Killcam: OFF
  • Vehicles: OFF
  • 3D Spotting: OFF
  • Minimap: OFF
  • HUD: OFF
  • Tickets: 2 tickets per person pending attendance
  • All unlocks: Enabled
  • Player Heath: 100
  • Bullet Damage: 50
  • Player Respawn Time: 100

Event Length: 1 hour

Number of players: Pending attendance

Maps: List maps for event here

Objectives/Rules:
  • Standard eGO Rules apply: No Exploiting, No Attacking/Entering Uncaps, and No going out of bounds for any reason
  • RU Team/Defenders are Zombies and US Team/Attackers are Humans
  • TDM Rules - At the beginning of a round all players will be on the US Team and are asked not to spawn in. One person for every Four players will be designated by ECs as zombies and asked to switch to the RU Team. The Zombies win by converting all Humans into Zombies. Once a Human is Killed by a Zombie they must immediately switch to the Zombie Team (RU Team) and are allowed to respawn as a Zombie. Zombies Win by converting all Humans to Zombies and Humans win by reaching the specified ticket kill count (based on attendance)
  • Rush Rules - Attackers are Humans and Defenders are Zombies. At the Beginning of the round for every one Human their will be two Zombies. Once a Human is Killed by a Zombie they must immediately switch to the Zombie Team (Defenders) and are allowed to respawn as a Zombie. The Humans (Attackers) win by destroying all the M-Coms and Zombies (Defenders) win by converting all Humans into Zombies. At all times the Humans must go for the objective and cannot camp, Zombies may camp anywhere on the map and set traps for the Humans.
  • Humans are allowed to use any weapon except explosives (C4, Rockets, Frag Rounds etc.) to Kill Zombies
  • Zombies are allowed to revive fallen Zombies but Humans cannot revive fallen Humans
  • Zombies may use smoke to cover their attack but may not use it to kill Humans
  • Zombies are only allowed to used a Knife to Kill/Convert humans
  • If at anytime a Human is killed by a weapon other than a Knife by a Zombie, they may respawn or be revived as a Human

I wont be able to make it to practice tonight due to work. Vert can you please lead the practice. Pcgn playoff tomo so everyone needs to be on vent by 8est sharp.
 
Wait a minute. We are playing Nexus Algorithm tomorrow? I think I was told that we were playing Critical e-Sports. When I saw Critical's platoon stats I choked on my tea.

Well that is a MAJOR sigh of relief.

Same thing, both teams merged, but don?t worry we have a nice surprise for them also lol Be at the practice H9, we need you :P

And I plan to. Still a bit terrified of Critical though. Do we know who is coming yet? At least from our clan at least? More specifically will Cookie be there!?
 
Don’t need to be terrified, I knew this was coming and made plans accordingly, we should be fine. We will be fielding a very strong team in combination with a couple of surprises as well, if I am home by tonight for practice will tell you all or else ill catch you at practice tomo @ 8est. Cookie should be there as well. From what I know CL will be bringing a very similar team to the one they brought last game, the teku’s will be there as well.

Can't imagine what surprise you could possibly have. I don't see any benefit a pro team has merging with some scrubs other than an excuse to play in a non pro tournament and destroy people who are less than them for the lulz. I personally don't want any part of that. So I'm probably not gonna play and if I do my minds not gonna be in it so I'll be more a detriment than anything.

I used to want to learn to be pro but every "pro team" I've met is conceited, has no sportsmanship, and so full of hate and vitriol to everyone else. As if they are god's gift to the world because they're good at a video game. I personally don't want to learn to be a part of that group anymore as I refuse to be associated with people like that.

I'm all for PCGN when it's a bunch of just regular clans playing in a tournament. It's fun, in fact for awhile was the only way i could still have fun playing Battlefield because I got tired of pubs who couldn't play as a team if their life depended on it. PCGN allowed a non stressful way to experience true Battlefield Teamwork while playing against other friendly clans(notice the keyword friendly). As long as they allow pro teams with no sportsmanship to play for scrubs though I'm not gonna participate in any matches against those teams. You can count me back in next week assuming we're playing a regular clan with true sportsmanship.

I completely agree with what your saying and that is precisely the point I brought up in our meeting with PCGN but they fail to understand. Anyhow we have made some plans in regards to facing NA tomorrow and those plans will only be used in games against this one specific team. Come find me on vent and ill give you more details. Its only NA that is playing these tricks so once we are over them we should be back to the normal gameplay we are used to in PCGN so stick around.

Honestly this is exactly how I feel and I couldn't have said it any better than you have. But I will add a few things as a DL of the Battlefield Division and as a member of Leadership in the EdgeGamers Organization.

When we decided to join PCGN, it was because of how the league was advertised to us, As a casual league for casual communities, a friendly environment where we are all still competitive against each other but we still respect one one another at the beginning and the end of the match. Because that is exactly what our community promotes, we are a gaming organization that welcomes any player who wants to be part of a mature community without the dedication that some other communities ask for.

Our goal as Leadership is to organize this community so that you all as members will have fun. We host events and play competitively for you all to get away from the normal gameplay in public servers. So if you all are not having fun playing this game or any other with members of the eGO community, then we are not doing our jobs as Leadership.

Currently both Killer and Surfer are teaming up with the league admins of PCGN to expand it. Them and others are trying to recruit more communities to be part of PCGN. Whether the communities being recruited are pro or not, I do not know. But, if PCGN does end up becoming a pro-league with pro-teams, then I am sorry to say but we will not be participating. We are not that type of community.
