Well only reason I am up right now (3am PST) is that I just got back from watching this movie & I have to say its well worth the watch. A lot better than the third Spider-Man and comes pretty close to the second Spider-Man. The only thing that bothered me was that it was as long as the third one, but I guess they solved it by actually making the plot worth watching. Lastly, for some reason the actor they chose for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) actually did a great job. Honestly didn't give the guy enough credit and dissed on his acting and their possible bad choice in a Peter Parker when I shouldn't have.

Overall: 9/10

Recommend going and seeing it when given the chance.

P.S. Stay after the credits. Sneak peak, but I didn't understand it lol :facewall:

I didnt read most of this just saw the title and rateing i plan to watch this movie soon
so i dont want to spoil it

Movie was great and I enjoyed it! I also went to the midnight show with some friends and had a blast. Also, meet me in vent and I can explain the sneak peak to you :) Note, the black below contains spoilers. Look at your own risk!

I personally thought that the PoV shots they did were done well and very neat. Almost made my 3D worth it.... almost

this movie is on my to-do list, really want to see how it is

You went and watched it in 3D? The only part that actually was probably worth the 3D was the very end. But I guess I just don't like watching movies in 3D because it never lives up to my expectations lol....

But ya, I'll catch you in vent soon :)

A surprise after of the credits eh? thats as i Love Marvel movies :D

The biggest reasons I'm intrigued by the new movie are simply put:

1). Mechanical web shooters instead of organic
2). I've always thought the more 'high school-y' Spider-Man was more interesting
3). Spidey actually makes wisecracks again.

Overall though I do have to say I hate the basketball dimple-looking costume and what they turned the Lizard into. I mean he looks like some kind of human with scales and a tail moreso than the original Lizard did in the comics who was more lizard-like.

I will say that I am happy they actually used his web shooter instead of out of his wrist. It honestly made the movie fit more into the idea of the actual comic book. And the thing is that even though he did go to high school he also did have the Daily Bugle job.

And yes, the wise-cracks that Spider-Man was known for was a relief to see in this film. He actually made the wise-cracks work for him, like it wasn't awkward hearing him say it lol.

P.S. I also was semi-disappointed in the Lizard's appearance in the movie :(

Went and saw the premiere, was boring as hell. It was nothing more then a let down, but that's to be expected from a movie with such high standards..not worth the 10$

I heard it was amazing. Buh dum tssssssssssssss

I really want to go see it before this summer. Then I want to watch The Dark Night Rises in 4D IMAX as well.

Lol the funny thing is that I am not really interested in the new Batman movie at all.

But that can be expected when you grow up lovin' Marvel over DC heroes.
I guess the only real DC character I actually enjoyed reading about was Superman......

Truthfully I grew up with Marvel as well, but I absolutely love Batman still. So many DC characters are basically gods who are completely invulnerable, it's ridiculous. But Batman stands pretty much alone as just a normal guy with gadgets and martial arts training up the wazoo...

I recall that Superman was the only 'god' type of hero in the DC universe. I will give it to you though, I do enjoy me some Green Arrow! :)
