In GameMe, does a kill assist while healing as a medic count towards your kill count or your assist count?

I actually heard two people (can't remember who) talk about this in Ventrilo. One said that the assist counts as a kill in gameMe.

Not sure if that's true though.

it counts as a medic assist, which is separate from kills and kill assists. and is worth more points.
