Shader Model?

Sorry, I don't even know if this is even the right place to ask. So I just won CS:GO but when I load it, it disconnects and gives me an error message of :
Your graphics hardware must support at least a shader model of 3.0 to run this game.

And then it says some stuff about my computer.
Is this a simple fix by downloading something or do I have to go get a new graphics card? Thanks!

You may have to update your drivers, but this is usually a card-supported feature, so you'll likely have to upgrade the GPU. Pretty sure other Source games don't require 3.0 though, wonder if it's part of the beta?
