Starcraft 2 Joystick?

Check out my post on the Starcraft II Joystick. Complete with how the guy made it. It's pretty cool! Although I would still prefer Keyboard and mouse.

I agree. It's pretty awesome, but mouse and keyboard is probably better.

I know it's obviously a device he put together himself, but dear god that thing is huge... I'm also the same with you two though, mouse/keyboard unless it's a racing game or some form of game that's just better with a joystick (I'm looking at you Beyond Good and Evil). Impressive though.

Never have 'gotten' the idea as to why some people fawn over things like the SteelSeries WoW keyboard and whatnot, I can generally do what they do in just a few seconds. And if I'm REALLY lazy, I've got a gamepad I can program in stuff for.

It's definitely interesting. I actually thought it was a track ball type thing for a second, like in arcade bowling games. That would be interesting too, but probably much less practical lol. I could see this being better if someone really got used to it and mastered it, but there'd have to be some test with one of the best keyboard+mousers versus the best joysticker.

Don't see the point really, just seems like a keyboard (with slightly less keys) and a mouse stuck together.
