On the matter of hindering in-game recruiting -- Please read!

Hey guys,
I've noticed a trend that has been going on as long as I've been in the clan. I didn't really think it a problem as an e, and honestly I probably joined in when it happened.
What I'm talking about is when people who are already in the clan hinder the efforts of recruiters by either sarcastically saying bad things about it or saying they'd like to join. The second isn't as much of a problem, but it can be quite annoying.
The first, however, can scare away potential recruits. That, my friends, is the last thing we want to do with our dwindling numbers. Kazoo and I were talking earlier and we both believe that this is a severe enough offense to warrant disciplinary action.
So please, guys, leave the recruiting efforts alone if you're not going to put in a good word about the clan.

Yes, thi is something that always happens to me when I try to recruit. What I normally do is to warn them. I believe legit waffle told me once that when people do this it is considered as griefing therefore it is against eGO rules.
