Reputation system usage

I really enjoy the simple rep system we have on our servers. Its a nice tip of the hat to reward good behavior. I use it especially on non-eGO members when they have just apologized to an ADMIN after being warned for some thing. I think it shows that they are still welcome to play here and we appreciate their mature response. I have received instant friend requests from a lot of them afterwards; which allows for recruiting opportunities. They appreciate our no non-sense, jerk free gaming style, even after being warned earlier.

I have had several comments from players that they actually feel wanted and welcome on our servers, and that if feels like "home" to them.

That's actually a very good way to use those reputation points.

I normally give points to the first three who joined the server I'm in after a Fast Fill announcement was sent out, or to the three who are already on the near-empty server when I join.

Nice, I just try to make conversations with them, but this is a good conversation starter
