Yeah, that map is kind of broken now.
 
To make some clarification, the Doomsday server (when it was a 32 slot) made it extremely difficult to fill and make the server grow and prosper. 32 slot servers, If I am correct are lower on the quick play fill list. The server was being played on BlackMesa's rank made it difficult to fill. (Thanks to SpidEY) The server has been switched to a 24 slot and is in the process of growing and increasing its rank which will help fill it and help us bring in new recruits! This is a process which will require some group effort in filling it up till we can have it to the point it manages to run by itself.

I understand and am reading and hearing what you guys are saying about BlackMesa. I was originally recruited and played the server non-stop. The situation: everyone loved and cared about BlackMesa but No one wanted to fill it.

Roflcopter has been extremely kind and generous in hosting a BlackMesa server which has the new and old maps.

i still think black mesa would be the best, a lot of people stoped playing on ego servers because black mesa is gone.

Maybe the whole issue was it being 32slot instead of 24. Personaly 32 people in any map is kindof hard to see myself(thou I seen it done a few times). Eather way I will still like to see custem maps(yes I am watching this thread till a desction is made).
 
I don't play much TF2 anymore but I will say that when one of the servers was 24/7 payload about 2 years ago, it was my favorite but kinda hard to fill. My first love was blackmesa and my second payload.
