I recently sent out some emails for possible tech jobs within my area (San Antonio, TX). I recently received a reply back. Some weird things pop out at me.
#1 The person who sent the email didnt sign their name at the end. The email belongs to a gentleman named Gregg, while they put down a CEO by the name of Elizabeth. Last time I checked, Ive never heard of a guy named Elizabeth (then again, I could be wrong since there is a few guys w/ ladies names out there).
#2 The companies in which they work for didnt match up either. This gentleman has some Gmail account, while this "CEO" lady doesnt even have a return email or possible contact # or even an address. Even my mom, who used to work for the AF Reserves, was required to have her address & contact # for her ledger/signature (whatever you want to call it).
#3 This letter was rather badly written, especially for it being a supposedly "company" letter. I mean if you're going to conduct business & offer a business to someone wanting to help you work on your laptops (they are 7x HP dv2500), then you want to make sure that you make the sentences come out looking real good. Some words arent capitalized, like Windows & Vista & Professional (referring to the OS of course). Also they wanting to install AVG free, which is fine, but in 1 sentence, AVG is capitalized & in the other its not.
Overall, I highly doubt that I will send them an email. I am seriously considering searching up this lady and/or her company and finding out if this is really legit. Any ideas/suggestions?
