That's right, ladies and gentlemen: after a very lengthy parliamentary session behind the scenes (and by parliamentary I mean Nik wore a wig), the Event Coordinators are proud to announce the second coming of the Fourth Season of the eGO TF2 Summer League!
"But Caelestis, what does this mean to me?"
It means a few things. First, full faith and credit is given to all matches that have already been played. Second, it means business as usual. Next week, matches are to resume. You might even look here for some highlights to be mentioned. So if you think you've got the skill to show to the world, prove it in match play. Our referees will let me know whose plays they think deserve to go on the Wall of Fame!
"But Celery, what is the Wall of Fame?"
It's a wall.
"So Calcium, who are these referees of whom you speak?"
A very good question. The Event Coordinator team is obviously available to act as referees: Kazoo, Meep, Nik, SephirothSG, ShinobiSli, Shiznoe, Varil, VP-77, Wize, Zeu5, and me. In addition, I am delighted to add four more names to the list of potential referees, any of whom you may contact freely and ask to validate your match: Crixus, N-Light, NightZero, and GTRRacer.
"But Kale, those last four guys don't yet have their O, right?"
These four, although still G members, have demonstrated an interest in contributing to the EC program. At a time when we are busier than ever in the EC program, we are looking for all available hands. Don't worry; it's not like we're giving them RCON access or anything right now. Actually, I'm not even sure why someone thought it was wise to give me RCON access, but that's neither here nor there. Suffice to say that if you are a G but interested in helping with the EC program, there may be opportunities like this in the future, so look for them!
"But Coelacanth, what if I want to play and am not on a team yet? Is it too late to join?"
Not necessarily. If you are untethered to a team right now, there are precisely two spots open on one team. Contact Shiznoe, Wize, VP, or Kazoo about joining their team. First come, first served.
"Is that all, Cellophane?"
Look for unmitigated amounts of awesome to be forthcoming in the following month. I'm sworn to secrecy by people who move in elite circles, so I can't say too much. However, since these people are made dizzy from moving in elite circles all day, maybe they won't mind if I give you a hint:
Ring ring! Ring ring! Ring!
