Tonight's map for the Highlander tonight will be pl_swiftwater!
You're probably wondering why I am making a thread about this. In the past, there have been times where Highlander's take a while to start due to some members not having the map downloaded beforehand. Since I wanted to do a Payload map that has not been played in a long time, I decided to try out Swiftwater. If you were on the competitive team last season, you will most likely remember playing this map last season, as it was one of the better maps, in my opinion. 8)
There are some changes to this map since the UGC version did remake some area's of this map. If you're going to attend this event, please be sure to download the map by going to the link at the bottom of the page (9 mb file) and be sure to place the map in C:\Program Files/Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\[username]\team fortress 2\tf\maps.
The event will be at 8pm CST/9pm EST! Please come on to vent if you're going to be attending the event, as the password will be given out there. Hope to see you guys here and cheers on playing our first Payload map in a Highlander event! 8)
