Ping

Hi

I have a hp with a 8500 new vedio card but for 2 days now my ping has been in the 300-1000 and nothing new has been added i turned of my modem 3x and still the same I restored the computer still nothing what can I do? Its an AMD3500+ pc3200ddr and an ata hard drive with a 7200 serial
