Killing Floor

Hello Edge Gamers,

I was wondering who all plays/owns the game "Killing Floor" on Steam. It is a very fun co-op survival horror game with an RPG twist where you are with a team of up to 5 other people and you have to defend yourself against up to 10 waves (plus a boss wave) of many different types of mutants. There are also atleast 20 different guns to choose from, all of which are very cool. I have been playing it for a few years now and still play it to this day, it's a very good game. If anyone owns it and still plays it, add me on steam (matt0719) and we should play a game sometime. I would love to team up with some Edge Gamers and dominate some mutants.

For those of you who don't own it, I believe it is $7.50 on Steam for the summer sale, and even not on the summer sale I doubt its more than $15-20. It's a bargain if you ask me. I've logged many hours on it, and it was only $20 when I bought it.

I bought it it last XMas but i never play it only have it when everyone wants to get on

RPG -> Role-playing game. Get your facts straight. Just because you can level perks, doesn't mean it's automatically an RPG-type game.

You can always look for me sometime in the TF2 rooms. I'm usually playing with KF with one of my friends or more when I'm bored.

Go play Firebug. Non-stop flamethrower with 100 "shots" in it is the closest thing you'll get to a machine gun in this game.

A machine gun would just fulfill the job that Firebugs are supposed to have, which is mowing down the lesser specimens. Plus the fire screws up vision for Sharpshooters, so that's a game-balancing thing I guess. A machine gun would bypass that completely.

If they do eventually add one, it better be damn expensive.

Yeah i've always kind of thought that too. The commando class has some good rifles, but a SAW or something along the lines would be awesome.

That sub-machine gun -- the uzi/mac-10/what have you -- that you can get already automatically does fire damage as a Firebug. Give the Firebug a machine gun alternative to the flamethrower, make it kick up a lot of of dust or something and still deal full fire damage like the 'thrower or half and half like the SMG that are already available. Bam, problem solved! (Heck, I'd play the Firebug more if this happened. The flamethrower and the weird fireball-cannon gun don't really appeal to me and tearing up crowds of lesser baddies with a SAW or something would be pretty awesome.)
