Holocaust museum was really eye opening it is in Washington and I recomend it!

Stewie, sorry I missed this thread, but Big Bang nailed it. Of all the sights here in DC, the Holocaust Museum is the one I always recommend first. I love the monuments on the Mall (Korean War, Vietnam War, WWII, etc.) and the typical museums (Smithsonian et al), the Air & Space Museum out at Dulles, and the not-so-typical stops like the International Spy Museum, Ford's Theater, and J Edgar Hoover (FBI) bldg tour, but the Holocaust Museum is a must. Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.

Still, sounds like you had a good time and that's all that really matters.
