EGO website slow/freeze

I believe the problem to be the flash page in the upper right corner of the site. This object makes the load time on ALL pages slow. By slow I mean all objects load, then the screen freezes to actually render or activate the flash object. I cannot do anything but have like 9 different tabs of the page open to view areas of the forums and webpage effectively.

Does anyone else experience the freeze up once all objects are downloaded? Could there be a way if that flash is the problem, and alot of other people are having the same problem to have it removed?

If its not the flash object, then whats making the page freeze?

I've had that EXACT same problem since the new website was put up. There is is a 15-30 second freeze (mouse cursor works, but I can't scroll the webpage) after each page is loaded. It doesn't happen on other websites. I've been just putting up with it.

I updated to SP3 for XP, the problem still exists, but not as bad. I use IE6 and not IE7 or Firefox. Any responces from web admins could help, or at least try lookin into the problem farther please.

I use Opera and no problem at all!

Mozilla FireFox! However, when I go here.. I have to wait about 5-10 seconds to go to another section.
Ex. "General Discussion" to "Tech Help"
